Richard Anderson was born in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in eastern Iowa. He joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served in Central America, Europe, the Middle East and various locations in the U.S. He relocated to Denver in 1995 and became an artist. He has shown in several galleries around the city and lives and works in SE Denver.
