CONTEMPORARY | EXPANSIVE | PROLIFIC | PASSIONATE | ARTISTS

931 Gallery is a subsidiary of Creative Arts Design Center LLC, a mixed co-op space in Denver, Colorado’s Sante Fe Arts District. We are currently seeking modern artists who actively expand the boundaries of definition and concept of art. The cooperative exhibition space is in the Front Gallery and corresponds with ongoing studio exhibits by artist Denise Demby in the back gallery.

Membership Overview

931 gallery is a subsidiary of Creative Arts Design Center LLC, owned and operated by artist Denise Demby. 931 Gallery intends to expanding opportunities for a fixed group of artists to begin the year 2024 as a mixed co -operative group in a sublease arrangement to Creative Arts Design Center. Creative Arts Design Center will maintain proper insurance, billing and sales tax filing for the space and artists will manage schedule, promotions and sitting the gallery.

Membership Benefits:

  • Solo show in the members gallery right on Santa Fe Dr in the Santa Fe Arts District (Full Members)

  • Advertising on Santa Fe Arts District Website and promotions

  • Shared show in the front gallery (Split Members)

  • Community with other artists

Member Responsibilities:

  • Artists do their own marketing- utilize SFAD membership

  • One directer to manage scheduling and promotions

  • Dues are paid by quarter, one quarter in advance

  • Membership fees prorated for increase costs

  • Artists sit their own show

Membership fees:

  • $115 per month (Full Membership)

  • $58 per month (Split Membership)

  • Gallery Comission 20%

Membership Types

Full & Split Membership

All full members are entitled to anannual solo show in the Front Gallery, website artist page and ongoing presence in the Central Members gallery. Split members are entitled to anannual shared show in the half the Front Gallery and alternating options for exhibit int he Members Gallery. Submissions for membership are reviewed once a month. If there are no openings, submissions will be held on file for future review. Fullmembers: Ifs elected, every member is required to pay dues on a quarterly basis one quarter in advance of due date.

Membership Requirements

Artists are responsible for all aspects of their show including hanging, promotion, scheduling. etc. One member will be appointed as manager to work with members on scheduling and showsitting. Members are required to sit their own show. Volunteer work is minimal as financials, sales tax, and insurances are maintained by Creative Arts Design Center LLC.

Artist interested in applying for membership should submit the following:

1. Digital Images: Min 5 and Max 10. Format images as JPEG's, no psd, tiff, etc. Keep the the file size small, and label images with descriptions: artist_title_media_date4.Resume/CV5.

2. Cover letter expressing your interest and intentions if selected for membership. Email images and information to DeniseDemby at 931gallery@gmail.com.
