I have loved photography as far back as I can remember. I do not feel bound by subject or approach.  However, my primary focus is on color abstracts, both found and created.   I am fascinated by the vibrant hues and diverse shapes that surround us daily, leading to my developing a distinctive style that blurs the lines between reality and imagination transforming ordinary, mundane subjects into tapestries of color and design.

Whether working in the junkyard, happening upon subjects or creating images from scratch, I blend creativity with technical clarity using overlays of texture and enhanced color that make the image the focal point while obscuring the original subject, challenging the viewers’ perception of photography and asking them to use their imaginations.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to be included in group shows, galleries and have taught color theory, abstraction and color printing (before computer printing was commonplace).
